Tim Burton introducing Batman

"’Batman’ was the first big movie I ever directed. Nowadays there's a superhero movie every week, but that wasn't the case back then. We were entering completely new territory and it was very exciting. I treated this movie as a real horror film, as a kind of Phantom of the Opera. What interested me was the very dual psychology of Batman and the Joker. When was the film made again, in 1989? Well, enjoy this old movie!”

Marie Perennès and Simon Depardon introducing ‘Feminine Riposte’

"This film was made to get young people talking about their commitment and their activism, and to show us to what degree it is wonderful to be an activist because it brings hope. There are many generations of feminists who see the film and there are also men. We also made the film for them. Feminicide is something that should concern all of us. It’s an urgent matter. Young people are taking on this subject wholeheartedly, and we find that very moving."
