My quick bio: With enthusiasm and dedication, Alexandra Deja takes her students from the Maison Familiale Rurale (MFR) in Saint-Laurent de Chamousset on the adventure of the Lumière Film Festival every year. Alexandra has been a teacher at this school for fifteen years and is involved in the life of her community as a parent and in several sports associations

My favourite filmmakers: I love Tim Burton's world, I always have. ‘Sleepy Hollow’ is one of my favourite movies! I'm also a die-hard Scorsese and Jane Campion fan!

My favourite actors: Johnny Depp, he is formidable in all his films. I also love Eva Green and Jim Carrey.

My favourite film: ‘The Others’ by Alejandro Amenábar. I've seen it many times, I loved this ghostly universe.

My interest in volunteering: When I saw the work done by the volunteers, I thought that it corresponded exactly to what we wanted to pass on to our students.

My tasks at the festival: Along with the students, I have helped with the sales in the Village shop, welcoming the public to the Photo Gallery and the Pathé Bellecour. We also prepared the snacks for the youth screening and will help set up the breakfast for the Tim Burton All-Nighter at the Halle Tony-Garnier.

My best memory of the festival: The screening of the movie ‘Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra’ at the Halle Tony-Garnier in the presence of Alain Chabat and Monica Bellucci, it was an unforgettable moment. The students were able to take photos and get autographs from the actors, they were so happy!
