For me, the supreme artist is Matisse. I love him for the patient, thoughtful approach that allowed him to broaden his vision, always moving towards more simplicity, towards the essential. As far as my work is concerned, I am always ready for something new or radically different. I try to resist the temptation to return to what I have already explored.”
