Invitation to James Gray

He is perhaps the most European of the American filmmakers, having grown up with the films of the New Wave. Discovered by the thriller Little Odessa, he has made eight films that are both intimate and dazzling, often with autobiographical overtones, in which the difficulty of family relationships plays a major role. After the jungle of The Lost City of Z and the space of Ad Astra, he returns to his childhood in Queens with the magnificent Armageddon Time, which he will present as a premiere.
